With a 50-year history, this SME is a worldwide leader in custom-specific inductive components. STS delivers power-dense transformers and chokes for medium-frequency applications with sophisticated insulation and cooling. These components are used widely in industry, medicine, railway technology and in the Smart Grid, for example as intelligent power-grid converters. Around 190 STS employees develop, produce and sell reliable solutions, some of which are designed for extreme environments.
